Claude has over 25 years of experience in the Construction industry. He began his career in Prince Edward Island and has progressively held positions, both in Canada and abroad, from Carpenter to various levels of Supervision and Safety, including Project Manager, Operations Manager, and Vice-President of Operations. Claude is charged with implementing and maintaining the Chairman’s vision, ensuring the values of Safety, Quality, and Integrity are at the forefront of every organizational objective. His ability to think on his feet and search out solutions, continues to drive the company forward.

Bruce McIlhiney

HSE Manager

Bruce has over 30 years’ experience in Commercial and Industrial construction. He has been with Taurus for the last 15 years, committed to providing a safe and healthy workplace. Bruce leads by example to show new workers the importance of our safety program. He provides training, information, resources, policy development, and leadership to all Taurus employees and departments. Bruce uses his sense of humor and storytelling abilities to make safety training fun for all.

Darren Arthur

Commercial Earthworks Manager

Darren has over 28 years of progressive work experience in Commercial, Industrial and Municipal Water & Sewer. He has a background in Business Administration (Finance Diploma) and years of leadership experience, which includes sound expertise building and developing high-octane work teams. Darren is a safety-conscious and client focused Manager who creates and implements solid business plans based on industry trends, economic sectors, and market dynamics that leverage all company assets to ensure the achievement of corporate goals.

Janice Allin

Controller

Janice has over 11 years’ experience in accounting. She is an innovative and driven accounting professional and strives to learn new ways of doing things. She continuously takes on new challenges that are out of her comfort zone. She leads by example and is one that rolls up her sleeves to get the job done by finding solutions to what keeps the President and other senior managers up at night. She has strong interpersonal skills, which is demonstrated through her ability to communicate and bridge the gap between what has been done and what others say can’t be accomplished.

Jesse Donaldson

Project Manager

Jesse has 22 years of experience working in Commercial and Industrial construction. This experience has developed him as a Project Manager and he knows that in order for a project to be successful day to day, you must never lose focus of the bigger picture. His extensive field experience, coupled with his formal education from the University of Alberta, has given him a well- rounded, hands on understanding of all critical components involved in successful project completion. Jesse is always excited to tackle new challenges and looks forward to discussing future projects with potential clients.

Kristin Kirkland

Human Resources Generalist

Kristin has over 17 years of human resource management experience, the last 4 years with Taurus. She has notable experience in human resource planning, performance management, staffing, employee relations, training and development, and management coaching. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management/General Business and is a Certified Professional in Human Resources (CPHR). Kristin’s open and honest approach to problem solving allows her to find the best solution to benefit all parties involved. Her lightheartedness and easy going behaviour brings cohesiveness to the Senior Management team.

Pierre Couturier

Project Manager – Materials Management Division

Pierre has more than 20 years of experience in Construction Materials management. He is a highly skilled and dedicated professional with experience in material management, supply chain management, warehouse management, and transportation and logistics. He has gained a verifiable track record in orchestrating best practices to streamline operations, expedite shipments and deliveries, and abolish project process delays which has helped reduce costs, enhance workflow and promote the highest standard of efficiency. Since Materials management affects every department of a project, he is proud to promote a collaborative Team atmosphere which results in a safe and successful completion of the shared goal.

Ryan Midgley

Equipment and Logistics Manager

Ryan has over 30 years of Equipment experience, the last 13 of which have been with Taurus. He has been involved in many areas of the company, growing with the company along the way. His negotiating skills, business know how, and knowledge of equipment has contributed to his success in his current position. He enjoys staying active, which is demonstrated through his daily tasks which range from the desk to operating equipment.
